About Melody Frontier
An independent pharmaceutical consultancy, based in Lisbon and active since 2016, serving healthcare companies in Portugal, Spain and selected international markets.
The founder
Ismael Gomes — Founder & Managing Director
A pharmacist and pharmaceutical executive with more than 20 years of experience in national and international companies, Ismael Gomes has built his career across the whole value chain: country management, commercial management, regulatory affairs, business development, market access, pharmaceutical distribution, logistics and supply chain — including industrial-level experience and GMP standards.
He has worked on public hospital tenders, pricing and reimbursement, portfolio management, partner selection and cross-functional project coordination.
Education: Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences · MBA in Management · Postgraduate studies in Artificial Intelligence for Managers.

One perspective, every discipline
Most pharmaceutical problems are not regulatory, commercial or operational — they are all three at once. The founder's cross-functional background allows Melody to assess each project beyond a single technical discipline and recommend what makes sense for the business as a whole.

Melody Frontier is led directly by its founder — he is the one who hears the problem and the one who sees it through. When a project requires complementary expertise, Melody mobilises a selected network of specialised professionals, while keeping coordination and accountability for the project.
